Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 June 2026
Service: Docos.TV (docos.tv and associated apps)
Company: Northover Media, Inc., a Delaware corporation

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Docos.TV — including the website at docos.tv and the Docos.TV apps on Google Play (Android and Google TV), Amazon Fire TV, and the Roku Channel Store (collectively, the “Service”) — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Northover Media, Inc., a corporation incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States, with operations in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. These Terms are primarily governed by U.S. law.

2. What We Do

Docos.TV provides a cable-style interface for discovering and watching live documentary and factual content streams aggregated from publicly available broadcaster and distributor CDNs and third-party platforms. We act as an aggregator only. We do not host, produce, or control the underlying streams. Stream availability, quality, and content may change at any time without notice and are outside our control.

3. Free Account & Email Signup

Access to the Docos.TV web guide requires a free account, created by providing your first name, email address, phone number, and state or territory, and by agreeing to receive communications. We use a double opt-in process: after you sign up, we email you a confirmation link.

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs through your signup email.

We send account, product, and marketing communications to the email you provide. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us. Managing your email preferences is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. The Apps

The Docos.TV Android, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku apps are published by Northover Media, Inc. on the Google Play Store, Amazon Appstore, and Roku Channel Store. The apps are free. Your use of the apps is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service, the Amazon Appstore Terms of Use, and the Roku Channel Store Terms, as applicable. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the store terms, the store terms govern with respect to store distribution only.

5. Advertising

Docos.TV is free and ad-supported. The website and apps may display advertising and use advertising and measurement technologies. By using the Service you acknowledge that advertising helps keep it free. How advertising data is handled, and your choices, are described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or access-control features;
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, restream, or redistribute the streams or Service;
  • Misrepresent your identity or provide false signup information;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

7. Intellectual Property & Third-Party Content

The Docos.TV name, logo, design, and software are owned by Northover Media, Inc. All channel names, logos, and programming belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification only. Docos.TV is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the respective channel owners. We claim no ownership of third-party streams or content.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular channel or stream will be available.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Northover Media, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including certain rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your data at any time via our data deletion page.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence apply.
